Miklas

resident goth grandpa. big handsome. a literature and language professor at fogmere's university, and quite the snobbish one. miklas is so immensely ancient, he has forgotten most of the course of his life, including his birth name. he was one of the privileged nosferats who, during the iron age and well into the rule of charlemagne, was in quite the cushy position as a ruler’s personal guard dog. other than being a local lord’s hidden weapon, he was also a chronicler and a librarian. he soent most of his life locked into a dusty archive, surrounded by scrolls and books, most of which now lost to time. if only he could remember what was in all of them. 

miklas was always passionate about literature, and in fact, was there when the canon was formed. he has quite the fiery opinions about the books selected for it, and his students dread the moment he gets started on it. it doesn’t help that the old, wooden benches of his church-like lecture hall will turn your spine to dust after 5 minutes of sitting in them… well, i hope you’ve got time.

the man is kind of a jerk. not very talkative, not very friendly, and has somewhat of a malicious air. he's actually a lot more mellow than he looks, with a calm demeanor and generally no contempt for others. he just has a scary face! he prefers it that way though, it repels people, and he's never been that much of a social guy. being intimidating has one massive privilege: peace.

miklas is a dog person, but absolutely won't admit it. he secretly runs a corgi picture account on twitter, and has five of the little runts at home, which he proudly displays online.
filip is the only one who knows about the account being his. and yes, he blackmails him about it.
