Daenyris

for the longest time, daenyris was sherman's eyes and ears in alfheim. his senior swiftly left once the high elves started enslaving fauns as exotic pets, disgusted with their decisions. daenyris, though equally disproving, stayed, if only to spy on the court and sabotage their actions.
he would later on be banished, caught purposely causing false fights between members of the upper courts. still, daenyris found ways to pull strings from the shadows. really, he hardly had to touch alfheim at all, and it all collapsed like a house of cards.

daenyris is an enigma of a man, being equally elegant as intimidating. he's thoroughly cunning, and makes sure to be as private as possible, masking all with a gentle smile. even after the collapse of the elven court, daenyris resumes his secretive life. no one knows how he even makes enough money to live as rambunctiously as he does. he can be frequently found attending luxurious parties as a guest of honor, but it seems only upper circles know just what he's famous for. the less questions, the better.
daenyris is good friends with the wizard, binnen, and served under him as an apprentice for what may as well have been centuries. the two are equally suspicious, so they get along just fine, sharing meaningless little nothings with one another over a cup of tea. over the years, daenyris has developed into quite the skilled caster, but lacks a coven. not that he wants to be in one - sharing his arcane finds with others? pfah! for what purpose? what do they want from him? how suspicious. he will have to decline most curtly.
