Purpurea

another rather peaceful demon. purpurea, among many others of their kind, sprouted from the rot inside of nepenthi's vast jungle. purpurea's kind is small and frail, but reproduces and grows at alarming rates. though reaching maturity within mere minutes, the mushroom folk are still overall very weak, and while they grow stronger with age, often do not grow much older than a few months.
purpurea has survived for 400 years.
they have developed long, extremely powerful legs, that can pierce through the sturdiest armor, and sprint at superhuman speeds. they lack arms, but have two clawed tendrils, which they can use for small, detering attacks. purpurea's last resort are their spores, that never stop pouring out from them. purpurea may produce thousands of offspring a day, the only thing preventing them from invading hell in its entirity being their offspring's incompetence.
nonetheless, purpurea is a gentle soul. they have a severe distaste for combat, and prefers their peaceful stroll to not be interrupted. luckily, not many dare challenge them for their reputation. purpurea does not speak, for they lack a functional mouth for the occasion, but make no attempt to alternatively communicate. they're not the most sociable of creatures.
