Rooibos

a greater demon residing in the deep murky waters of the fifth circle of hell. rooibos is the driver of many imps, and supposedly treats them nicer than most greater demons. which is saying a lot, because he eats them regularly. rooibos is somewhat of a ruthless underwater creature. of all demons in the fifth circle, he by far claims the most souls. much to the dismay of the bigwigs from the lower circles, considering each circle has its purpose. the souls there are supposed to wage an endless war against one another, trudging through the mud, and they are not supposed to be disturbed. this does not stop rooibos and his gaggle of bloodthirsty lower demons whatsoever. 

rooibos, asides from his regular acts of being a complete nuisance, has no interest in other demons whatsoever. while some may seek conflict with him as a test of strength, rooibos mostly avoids others of his caste. not because he is a coward, but because he simply thinks they are annoying. rooibos is only here for one purpose: feast. anything that stands in his way, he will either cast aside, or obliterate in a timely manner. he lives a life in an almost bestial manner, abiding no laws but his own, and chasing down the sole purpose of sustenance. he has but a sole ability, that with the right timing has potential to be incredibly dangerous — boiling the water he swims in with nothing but his bare hands. despite the many possibilities in combat, he mostly uses it to make impromptu stew out of his prey. rooibos’ carelessness and disdain should, by all means, get him in trouble, but none dare mess with him. except perhaps enamel, but enamel messes with everybody.
