Error floss are Candyfloss who - for one reason or another - passed MYO approval or batch approval with illegal traits. These floss are not forced to be fixed but an error wont make it through redesign, even if it was there before.
Grandfathered floss are Candyfloss who had a certain trait or error on them because they were created before that rule was put into place. This mostly refers to floss made before 2018 but there are a few exceptions. These floss are like errorfloss in the sense that they wont pass redesign without being fixed.
Special Event floss are candyfloss who, due to a new flavor infection, have special unique rules. These floss are only available during a certain time frame and are usually very rare. Because they are not errors they're allowed to pass redesign with their special traits. They can alter special traits but cannot add new ones that they didn't have during the event.

Redesigning on your own!
You can redesign your floss by following these quick and easy steps! Firstly, you must ask yourself if you are just changing the design of the Floss (colors, or slight edits)
or if you intend to add traits that your Floss doesn't already have.
If you want to add traits, plan it out, and check to see how much money it will cost to purchase the traits you want.
Trait pricing can be found below, follow the steps there to purchase your traits.
Now that you have a plan in order it's time to start redesigning!
Remember, you must provide a brand new reference; you cannot edit the original adopt artwork - however you are welcome to use a base.
All redesigns are compared to their ORIGINAL design, not their most recent design or currently active design. Redesigns cannot be stacked.

Commissioning someone else to draw the redesign for you is also okay.
Above are some helpful forms, that explain what is and isn't allowed to be changed. They're customized specially to fit each Candyfloss Flavor so be sure to choose the one that corresponds to the floss you want to edit.
This form is also what your redesign will be graded on- so be sure your redesign will pass before submitting it to the group!
You should be able to tell from this whether your design will pass or fail.
To be able to edit the document, go to file and click "make a copy"
This will copy the form to your google drive and allow you to fill it out.
When your redesign has been drawn, and your form is filled out
Submit your redesign for approval inthis thread with your form.
Then you are all done!
Sit back and relax and wait for your form to be checked and approved!
If you are purchasing additional traits, you will be instructed to send payment.
Once you receive approval your redesigned Candyfloss is free to be uploaded to da or toyhouse and can start being used~!
