Soul Gems
The Soul Gem is the Shaped Gem that sits on the center of every Candyfloss' forehead. Their soul gem is a part of their body and cannot be cannonically changed or moved. The sould gem holds inside of it the soul of the Candyfloss, and if it is broken or cracked it causes the Candyfloss great pain and possibly death. The Soul Gems are very precious. Soul Gems are the easiest way to identify a Floss's Clan, as they take the shape of the clan that Floss is born from. Clan shaped are passed down through the Candyfloss' father. The Soul Gem is a badge of honor for the floss, they display their soul gems as a way of saying "this is who i am, and i am proud of it" It is a social norm on Caramella for the Floss to never cover their gems with hair or clothing, and the floss have built their ideas of fashion around that. When a floss commits a great crime or is bannished from their clan they will cover their gem, as they no longer have the right to claim themselves as a part of their former clan. Banished floss are often descriminated against due to the likelyhood of their criminal background. |
Homeland
Each clan has their own Territory on Caramella. Check out the World Map for more details. Each of the clans have different living conditions, population, exports, and wildlife, as well as different Heritages inspired by real Earth cultures. The way a floss may act, believe, eat, or dress may be effected by their clan's specific culture. The borders of Caramella are open, and your floss may live in a clan they dont belong to. This is perfectly common. However, living in a foreign clan doesnt erase your history. Even if the floss has never been to their home clan, their culture usually still effects them in their upbringing and daily lives. |

              One of the most exciting things that your clan will determine is your Candyfloss' special ability. Each clan has a unique super power that can help in their day-to-day lives. From super speed or ice manipulation to telepathy or duplication the powers of the Candyfloss are all marvelous.
