The Dai Tori are a good deal taller than a  Candyfloss and can weigh massive amounts. They are seldom seen outside  of Theta, and prowl around the bamboo forests in the night time. They  are covered in fluffy fur and feather and can tightly coil themselves  into a ball to sleep in such a way that the shell remnants on their  backs touch each other making them appear like a very large egg. Despite  their cute fluffy exterior the Dai Tori are fierce predators that will  attack and kill Floss if they find them roaming around in the Thetan  forest. Most floss stay far away from Dai Tori when they see one, but  the Shinobi of Theta are trained on how to deal with one in the wild.  The Dai Tori are slow moving and not too bright, so they are easy to  outmaneuver and escape from if you know what you're doing. Some Shinobi  train Dai Tori from the egg, to use them in battle.
  They are easily food  motivated, so if you keep them well trained and  feed them often they  wont pose a threat to Floss unless you command  them to. It's rare to see  two Dai Tori in one place at one time,  however they are often  accompanied by a gathering of Tama Tori who run  around the Dai Tori's  feet and gather underneath them when they sit  down to hide under their  abundant toosh fur. The Dai Tori call out in a  distinct birds caw that  can often be heard from a distance all  throughout Theta when the sun  starts to set and the Dai Tori come out  of their shells to hunt.
