Club Petpet

What's going on this month in Lit club?A change in leadership-
The previous Literature Club leader, Lioness is leaving the CF staff team, and such a new leader if coming in to take her place. You should expect some changes in the club page, activities, and discord with this change in leadership. Please standby while things get adjusted this month. Tenshilove is moving over from the Occult Club to take charge of the club starting next month.
A book voting-
Starting in March, the club will be resuming it's weekly book readings and discussions. Those who participate will be rewarded with lit club coins but it is an optional activity. There will be a voting going on this month to decide what book the club will be reading together. Don't miss your chance to weigh in.
Bank restructure-
The bank will be restructured soon to clean it up and make sure it's accurate. Keep an eye out this month in the club discord for a notification asking you to verify if your coin total is correct or if you'd like to help adjust it as needed.
New Activities -
Lioness will be running a final event this month. Also we will be introducing some new smaller activities in the group. These will act as ways to earn coin and count as monthly participation. Look forward to trying out these new activities as they are introduced.
Member swapping -
With the changes this month we are also allowing anyone to swap their club member floss without reapplication. If you are interested in doing so please contact your club leader requesting for the change.
What is the Lit Club? To our floss -
In universe, the lit club is a small group of floss located in a university in Epsilon. They have a club house on campus that is used for their meetings and club activities. Together they are tasked with reading and analyzing the literature that the Epsilonian Scholars gather from around Caramella. Their club house (shown above) is cozy and quiet, and filled with that good new book smell. They have coffee and tea with their books and lively discussions about everything they've read. They even have a projector for movie nights - movies based on books, obviously for academic comparison.
To us -
Outside of lore, the Lit club is a small group discord server, that you can join and participate in an IRL book club. We will vote on a book title and once a week join together in Voice chat, where the club leader will read the chapter or chapters assigned for that week out loud for anyone who prefers audio books or cant get their hands on a copy. Then after the reading we will have a short discussion about the book. Outside of our weekly readings we also discuss literature on the regular. If you've read a new book and want to gush about it, we want to hear about it. If you're working on a writing project and want to share and get opinions, we'd love to read it! Found an awesome article or video essay about a book and want to pass it around? This is the place! Found a meme about how many books you haven't read on your shelf? It's always painfully hilarious, we'd love to see it. The club also holds activities once a month, usually a small writing prompt or literature related game.
You will get rewards for participating, and lack of participation for too long will result in your removal from the group. So bear that in mind if you want to participate. For being a member you will get access to club exclusive MYO give-aways, and our exclusive Club petpet, as well as the ability to earn Lit coins and spend them in our prize corner.
