Info
The Poulance stand knee high on a Floss, and though they may appear birdlike, they are actually mammals and are incapable of flight. They do sometimes flap their arm feathers to balance themselves or to kick up water or dust to help clean their plumage. The Poulance are usually docile but if one feels threatened it will hunch down, fan it's impressive tail and attack! So be careful! These creatures run in flocks, and when it's mating time, they will compete with one another by dancing and showing off their brightly colored feathers and tails. Because of this dance, the epsilon call them Ballarina Birds affectionately. The Poulance is an omnivore and love to chase around small Jawbreakers and Rainblos. They use a telepathic link with their flock to warn each other of danger or alert the others when food is near by. Though they would be crushed by a bigger floss, they don't mind giving rides to Kittenfloss or honeys. Many honeys in Chi like to ride atop the Poulances. It's common to see Poulance rides advertised as an attraction for the little ones in holidays and events.
