The Knan’Snaps are huge, strong rodents with long slinking bodies and strong snapping jaws. They are rare to see in the wild but are found sparingly haunting the dark back alleys of Iota. They love garbage and will scarf down just about anything without much thought. They are viscous creatures who tend to be dangerous when encountered. They are often hunted and exterminated when found but they breed rapidly making it hard to keep their numbers low. Knan'Snaps will chatter their sharp teeth to communicate with one another and will be quick to bite and rip apart anything in their way, so be careful! They live in colonies and nests that are usually comprised of several hundred Knan'Nibbles and only one or two Knan'Snaps. Unsurprisingly they don't make good pets, and tend to stay wild.  Much like the Nibbles, Snaps' eyes are somewhat hypnotic and can seem like they shift in color if you look into them too deeply. If they lock eyes with prey or floss they can quench their powers and make it even harder to catch them. The Snaps emit a smoke-like darkness from their bodies to shroud themselves and their nests in darkness. Unlike the Nibbles and Mikro Oplo, the Knan'Snaps dont pay much mind to Makro Oplos and tend to stay away from each other. "Tame" Knan'Snaps can be viewed at zoos and circuses but these dangerous creatures are also used by the Iota Mafia to terrorize their enemies.
