They are regal and fierce birds, known to lift their pray up into the air with ease and fly them off to their nests on the tops of the Epsilonion cliff sides. The iconic kaw of the Phoelance can sometimes be heard echoing through the mountains from far off. Very few floss in all of history have been able to form a bond with a Phoelance, however one of the current princes of Epsilon has a particular affinity with the bird and can even be seen riding atop it through the capital.
