Info

At home in the volcanic heat of the Alpha region, the Ammos Spitters live in rivers of magma and lava. Their bodies are impervious to heat to a ridiculous degree and the Spitter is able to stay submerged in Lava for several hours at a time. They swallow magma rocks and lava and hold it in a belly pouch, where they can launch it from their mouths. This allows them to use the magma to terraform their biome, building nests, moving lava rivers, and corroding rocks to suit their needs. They are also known to use their Lava to fight off predators and to protect their territories. The magma filling their bodies often seep out from their mouths, and pores on their tails when overfilled, and can start fires through vents on their bodies, similar to some Alphafloss. The Ammos Spitter are about the size of a Great Dane and can crawl and stick on vertical surfaces and ceilings. They are quick, agile, and viscous. They are extremely difficult to train unless raised from an egg, and are tough to take care of. They are illegal to own in several clans, but aren't uncommon to see in northern Alpha. They live in large family groups and protect one another's' young and egg clutches. The limited habitat of the Ammos cause them to be more rare than most Petpets, and they are protected by the Alpha clan as an endangered species. Their largest habitats are watched over and guarded against poachers and hunters by the military.80824713_hBOXPLzk2UI5itO.png
