A massive skeleton makes up the base of the Ostoreaper. When it's sleeping or trying to hide it can collapse itself into a pile of bones and mute it's presence, blending itself in with it's surroundings. Adventurers who pass through the Delta's The Plains of Charmont where they are known to gather, are often surprised by the Ostoreapers who lay in wait for their prey. Some Deltas consider these beasts to be the embodiment of spirits that are wandering Caramella and revere and fear them. They are rare creatures and are not likely to be seen in a life time, unless you travel to Delta's capital where one particular Hero is known to ride his Ostoreaper through the roads of Storlocke.

The Ostoreapers get their name from an old Delta legend that claims these creatures come for the souls of the dying to take them into the after life. According to that tale they say that if you make eye contact with a Reaper for too long then it means they have marked you for death! Some who have come across and Ostoreaper and lived, claim that the sounds they make sound like the whispers of ghosts and the light in their chest cavities seems to swirl and move and can even appear like faces at times! Some think the light is composed of the souls the Osto has taken and uses for energy! Lots of tales tell of the Ostoreaper but the only way to know the truth is to tame one yourself... are you brave enough?
